I have a 15 year old Maytag refrigerator that is not cooling properly, especially in the freezer. I have taken off the cardboard in the bottom of the back and cleaned it out. The compressor and lines do not show any sign of leaks and is fairly warm when operating. (not hot) The condenser fan is operating along with the evaproator fan in the freezer and frig section. Both frig and freezer temp controls are set on maximum yet the compressor is turning off and on yet both sections are not up to temperature. Thermostat? I have not removed the vent in the back of the frig - next step. Any suggestions?

15 years old... Time to replace that good old friend : it is uneconomical to repair such old applances !
