I want a divorce but my husband doesn't want to divorce how do we handle this situation?

Separation (for now)?

To my knowledge if your more than a year of marragie then you can give strong resone why you are divorcing him and take the divorce without his consent or send a notice to which he need answer thro which you can move slowly.

How do you want this resolved? Do you want the divorce regardless or do you want help on not wanting to get divorced?
