    Having sex after C section
My wife last month gave birth to a baby with C-Section (Operation). I want to know after how many months we can make love again.

Most doctors recommend 6 weeks, c-section or not. When she goes for her 6 week check up her MD should talk to her about birth control and resuming sex. If you decide to do it sooner(you should wait for the OK from the doc), make sure you use protection, as your wife can be able to get pregnant again even if she is breastfeeding.

I agree... and highly second the recommendation about birth control as a longer span of time between pregnancies is recommended after a c-section.

Thank you for your answer. Can you tell me what's the best protection? I heard that condom is not 100% safe. Can I give her bike ride?

Hmmm... you want to take her for a bike ride, or is this some sexual term that I do not know about. Definitely use a condom, but as far as other forms of birth control go, you would need a doc to prescribe them, and the doc probably won't do that yet, since you aren't to be having sex until 6 weeks postpartum.

    Bike ride?

Many doctors prescribe birth control before the woman is even out of the hospital so that there will be adequate time for it to begin to work.

Understand that there is no form of birth control that is 100% effective aside from abstinence.

She should discuss her preferred method of birth control when she goes back for her 6 week check up.
