    Dislikes lightened hair
Hello, I have colored someone's hair whose natural color is a light to medium brown. She wanted it bit brighter and chose these colors.
I used a mixture of Wella color light brown (level 5; base natural) & pale blonde w/ 20 vol peroxide. My friend dislikes the color at the root area which looks a bit brassy.
To color back, can I use light brown with a few drops of red (L'Oreal brand) w/ 20 vol peroxide to avoid any green? I am a hairdresser out of practice and color is not really my thing.
Was also thinking of putting on a color rinse (Roux) to minimize brassiness. OR could I put Loving Care on top of what I have done?
I have these items at home and was hoping to use them.
    Thanks for any help!

Probably a violet toner could help with the brassiness!
