OK so I had sex with my boyfriend about 38 hours ago. I am not on birth control and he didn't use a condom, but he didn't in me. My period just ended about 5 days go.. which means I'm not ovulating ritee.? So should I take the morning after pill? The thing is that I don't want to get the side effects and since I don't think I'm ovulating there's a less pregnancy risk.

If I should, which pill should I take?

2. pulling out is not a birth control method, it only reduces the amount of sperm there is still lots of sperm in the early fluid
3. if you are having unprotected sex and not on birth control, I would expect you want to have a baby, since that is how it happens

4. and I forget the exact time frame, but the longer from the time you had sex, the less effective the morning after pill is. It is not 100 percent even if taken right after. And the longer you wait it is less and less effective.

So is there a lesser chance, yes, but would you put one bullet in a gun that holds 20, and point it at you and pull the trigger, That is what having sex without both birth control and condom is like,

For example if you were still using a condom, at least 10 percent of they time they fail.

Time to take a morning after pill... go to Walgreens and talk to the pharmacist tonight.

Reading your other posts, you and your boyfriend have enough issues without adding a baby into it.

And having sex = babies. NOTHING but abstinence is 100%. I'm one of the experts Chuck was talking about--Pill, condom, spermicide, and the second time I'd had sex, and I got pregnant.

Not all women ovulate 14 days after their menstrual cycle starts. Some ovulate earlier, some later, and some DURING their period. If you aren't charting your ovulation, there's no way I could tell you whether you're ovulating.

I've read some things that say precum doesn't have sperm in it, now, as opposed to previous studies. If he came in you, though, you did have it in you a while. It sounds like it was an OK time of month for that, sort of. Not the best, but not the riskiest. But... While some have said so far, 10% of the time the condom fails, what does fail mean, that is, if you did use one, but you didn't. And if 10% if fails, and only about 30% of the month you are most likely to get pregnant anyway... And even if he cums in you when you are most likely to get pregnant... it's not totally 100% you will, by far!! That is pretty good. You can watch your time of the month, but in this case, it sounds like you aren't doing that, you just, maybe, got lucky.

I would say, if you want a thrill every now and then, then go for it, but wait until maybe 5 days or less before your period starts, otherwise use a condom or go on the pill.

Pre-ejaculate does contain sperm, not as much as regular ejaculate, but they are there and all it takes is one. As far as the thrill... ummm as long as you want a baby go for it. Like other posters have said... everyones cycle is different, and sex=babies (especially without protection).

Well, folks, it has been a month. The OP probably knows whether she is pregnant by now.
