How can you tell if an acid/base is strong or weak by looking at its formula?
Don't know but a suggestion is the closer the anion of the acid to the far top right of the periodic table. For e.g. acids of Fluorides (the toppest right in the periodic table) or other derivatives, tend to be the strongest acids.
