    Hi,
Do you ever get any error messages? Or, does it just completely freeze up, requiring a manual shut down then turn it back on again?

    whenitz,

I had the identical symptom for a system I built where all of a sudden it would freeze completely. After two months of frustration I took the whole thing apart and ended up reseating everything (except for the CPU Fan). Didn't work. In the end (for my specific situation) it turned out to be a heat problem with my CPU. My fan wasn't seated properly and the CPU was heating and made the system unstable. I'm not saying this is your problem but you may want check the CPU fan. The strange thing is that my system only froze when I let it idle. When I was actively working on the system it didn't freeze (at least not as often). I think in my case when the screen saver came on it spiked the CPU and that cause the CPU to overheat.

The 350 watt power supply might very well be your problem. MSI recommends at least a 450 Watt PS for the K8N and with all of the other devices you have you may not be getting enough power.

When you get a new PS make sure you get a 24-pin model (vs. the older 20-pin). I believe your board needs 24-pin although the 20 pin will still work. The 24 pin kind supplies additional power to the board.

    Good luck.
