I BELIEVE you urinate it out of your system that day or is gone completely the next.

This is one opinion I found on the subject but I can't attest to it by any means.
Many of the sites say allow one hour per beer for it to pass thrugh the liver. The "blurtit" attachment below is more pessimistic

    Hello amy:

Beer, like your NY Steak, stays in your system till you eliminate it. Beer, is food. Yes, it has water and alcohol in it. Water is urinated shortly after being consumed, and the alcohol turns to sugar in the intestine about 2 to 3 hours after you drink it.

PS> But, if you're an alcoholic, you shouldn't be drinking beer at all. It's isn't going to help your sobriety. Or, are you under some sort of court jurisdiction that you're about to violate? Then your question should have been about the law, not addictions.

Test results can depend on what system is being used to test. For example in blood tests, it does not even start showing up for the first two to three hours, In which case you will be looking for a 12 to 24 hour depending on your body to clear most.
