Hi. My girlfriend and I broke up about a month and a half ago. Currently I am using No Contact. Our two year anniversary would be in eight days... she is seeing someone now. I am not sure if this no contact thing is working or not... but I would like to know if I should send her a text or email telling her happy anniversary just to show I remember. Any ideas about this no contact or happy anniversary question..

I would just say something short and sweet like I was thinking about you. And say what's on your mind but not so much in the heart. I would call her, but if you guys are in that stage where you Won't talk WHATSOEVER, then an email will work.

I wouldn't say happy anniversary. It is not your anniversary anymore. You are not together. A phone call to let her know you are thinking of her would be nice... if it's on the day of the anniversary... she should realize that you were thinking of her because of the day... but leave those words out.

It sounds like you are using NC to make your ex miss you. You are probably hoping that by going through with NC, she will realize what she has lost. You are trying to get your ex back through NC. Sorry to say, but if that's what your using NC for, than you're right, it isn't working. She has someone else now, she has moved on. I think you need to realize that, and move on yourself.

Continue NC, but do it not to get your ex back, but to get over your ex.

Somebody has to say it, she's gone. Don't call her to wish her a happy anniversery.

Stick with NC. She's your ex and with someone else. There are no more anniversaries with this person. It's over. NC.
