    Pregnant or not?
Im 23, done my 4 years of University, going into another year for Teachers College in September. Ive been in a relationship for a year and have just recently lost my virginity. A condom was used, of course! But because I was in a lot of pain, since it was my first time, I stopped in between, and my partner did not ejaculate. A week after I got my period, and the last day of my period (may 28 08) I had sex for the second time, and again, since I'm new at this, I couldn't take the pain for too long, and told my partner to stop, and my partner didn't ejaculate again. Now, I haven't vomited, nor do I feel tired, but my breasts feel a little sore. I had sex again for the third time, and YET again, I told my partner(bf) to stop, because it was too much for me to take, he didn't ejaculate this time either. I feel like my tummy is bigger then usual. Im paranoid that I could be pregnant. I mean, I am a responsible women, protection was used, but, I just feel like I may be an unlucky person, having to lose my virginity for the first time, with someone I really care about and having to find out Im pregnant. I don't know how soon I can take a pregnancy test? I should be getting my period next week, or the week after.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You can test 5 days before your period is due with some tests by first response, and the day of a missed period with normal tests, and if it shows negative, try again in a week. If it's still negative and there's no period, go to the doctor. I bet you are just stressing because you are scared and new to the whole thing, so relax and just try t take care of yourself so that the stress won't delay your period.

If he didn't ejaculate and you were using protection, it's very unlikely. And your belly shouldn't be showing this early on anyway, so that's an unlikely symptom. You're probably just stressing because it was your first time.

All the same, if you're worried, take a test.

    All the best,

    Kal
