    Kitchen sink cabinet
I am remodeling my kitchen cabinets. I am cutting out the sink cabinet to allow the plumbing for the dish washer and inlet/ outlet of the drain. As I know that the cabinet is a standard 24" depth. Now does the cabinet bolt flush against the wall or do I allow a gap. I do not remember how the old one was, but the new one looks too recessed when it is flush against the wall. What is standard?

Standard 24" cabinets are normally screwed to the back wall after they are leveled. have you changed the counter top also? How much does the top over hang the cabinet face, 1 1/2"?

Additionally, check the clearance between the counter top and the floor to ensure that you have adequate clearance for the dishwasher. After leveling and securing the cabinet to the back wall, also make sure you have some overhang to screw the dishwasher to the counter top.
