    Notarizing documents
If I need to have an application notarized, can I take it to just anyone or do I need to go to a county clerk or what?

Most banks have a notary, some charge a fee, others don't.

That would be the most likely place to get a document notarized.

You take it to someone who is a notary, most banks, most check cashing places, most real estate offices, most UPS or mail box stores.

Dispatchers at police stations and sheriff offices have notaries available, many times on weekends and nights. The duties of notaries differ in each state.
