    Arm fat?
Hi. Does anyone know how to get rid of underarm fat? Its embracing and I can't wear my fave clothes because of it. If anyone could help me, I would appreciate it.

To lose fat in different "areas" is a bit hard... so you have to go the "lose fat overall" route. However, you can visibly change the way those different spots appear by working out and toning the muscles in the area.

As mentioned, you cannot spot reduce fat by choice. It is true that there may be regions you lose fat from first (for ex, many women lose some from their chest while not losing from other "problem" regions first, much to their frustration) but you don't get to choose.

And, as mentioned, what you can do is change body composition by lowering fat and increasing muscle.

My partner has always been mostly fit, but when she wanted stronger arms, she had to work them. Her body fat was within a good range, but she dropped it some, and more importantly, she worked her upper body.

Tae bo dvd's have a lot of upper arm moves. Tae bo amped used a weighted bar. I've used it and so has my wife, with great success. She also does pilates, which does amazing things for overall body strength.

So... no one way to target that area other than to work that region with exercise and to change overall body composition. The "bad" news is it will take work and time... the good news is it is often doable... just takes a planned workout and deliberate intent.
