It is common that when a toilet is plugged the water and the content of the toilet came out through the bath tub and shower? My house is only 2 1/2 years old, could it be a construction defect?

    Hi Karla,
No construction defect here I bet! Just a old fashioned clog located downstream from the tub/shower. There are two ways to snake it out. 1) Pull the toilet and send a snake down the closet bend **or** 2) go up on the roof and snake from the lavatory vent stack. Put out enough cable to reach the base and 18 feet more. Good luck, Tom
