    Tattoo and breastfeeding
Hi, I've got a 6week old baby and want to know if it's safe to get a tattoo if I'm breastfeeding...

It probably is, but most medical professionals would ask you to hold off because of the risk of infection.

As was mentioned, infection is a possibility... but this would not have anything to do with breastfeeding, it is just part of tattooing. Certainly if you decide to go forth, be sure you go to someone reputable, and you can always be sure to watch all opening of packaging.

Yes, infection, but also be mindful that the baby is going to be all over you..? No? And your body will be changing a bit I imagine, or maybe you didn't change much during the pregnancy. Like my tiny little friend, she didn't look very different at all. But she still had some changes. So be aware that that will affect your tatt.

SO much to consider. The main thing is the desiease factor, so yes do watch them open the packages, because disease will more than likely affect your breast feading.

    Peace
