Odor from kitchen sink faucet only
Hello. We have changed out our faucet three times, as there is an odor like rotten food (not eggs) coming from the faucet on both cold and hot side. We have an artesian well, well maintained filter system and a softener system on the home. This is the only water bearing item in the home that smells. There is no smell anywhere else. Does anyone know what it might be and how we can fix it. I hate having to run the water for a few minutes each time to get to the regular water. No there is no difference in color or texture of the water. Thanks. mrslucy

Just open up the water lock below the sink, and clean it. Blocked materials located in that section allow water to drip inside the pipe out of the waterlock, and create a passage for the sewer stench to pass through.

    Success!
