What are the Strongest Lightening Agents?
    Arbutin?
    Alpha Arbutin?
    Beta Arbutin?
    Methyl Arbutin?
    Benzyl Arbutin?

    Retin-A?

    Kojic Acid?
    Kojic Dipalmitate?

    Licorice Extract?

    Caviar?

Other? Which of the above are BEST in YOUR experience and at what %?

I already know the following are all dangerous banned/illegal skin lighteners in several countries:

    Mercury, Hydroquinone, Monobenzone, Peroxide.

Benzyl arbutin is a scam... anyone wanting this product, please email the producers and ask for the EXACT chemical.. you will find out it is something very common available much cheaper than from herbalinn, a company with no double blind independent testing, no proper office, no lab, etc.

I got myself a 20% monobenzone cream from some website I don't recall, I have got an almond liquid, but I am kind of scared to use what I would like to know is

    1) what are the directions to use e.g. how many times per day, should I mix the paste with the almond liquid

    2) when I know OK my skin is not adaptable to using the cream (if the cream were to be a fake) and stop using it

    3) finally a dumbo q, I am a brown guy I just want to get a couple of shades lighter not really pale white and I want permanent results have spent lots of $$ on hydroquinone the results though are fleeting is mono a safe bet?

    Please answer.

    Thanks.

    thanks.,

You have posted in the wrong thread for that info.

Use the "search" thing at the top and search for monobenzene. All you questions have been answered many many times.

    Good luck. :)

I have done a lot of research on Arbutin; and I've found that beta-arbutin is commonly known as just arbutin; and Alpha-arbutin is 10x stronger than beta-arbutin/arbutin. I didn't find much about methyl and benzyl as far as skin lightening is concerned.

I'm currently testing 2% Alpha-arbutin cream and it's been 2 weeks since I'm using it and it seems to be working. The discoloration I had on my big toe is nearly gone compared to my other other big toe (which is also discolored but I'm not using the cream on it yet).
