I hear a buzz every 45 seconds or so. The unit seems to be working, but blowing not as cold.

Sounds like some part is trying to fail or is in the process of totally failing. Would suggest calling a repair person to look at and properly diagnose and fix. This problem will not go away on it's own especially if not blowing cold air like it should.
