    Hello I was born with a ( s ) shaped spine dose any one now if I can still get pregnant I've been trying for about a year now but still nothing could it be because of my disability?

    Yes, you should consult your doctor and a fertility specialist, your condition may be genetic and you may pass it to children if you can conceive, and you may need help to conceive.

    I am assuming you are describing scoliosis. If so, in most cases it won't be an issue at all for fertility... (can depend on the underlying cause for the curvature, but most have no known specific reason)... and rarely a problem in pregnancy. It does depend on the severity and the location however, but any problem in pregnancy is often more one of discomfort and annoyance than any threat to the pregnancy or baby. This also can play a role in whether an epidural would be an appropriate option.
    It is not uncommon to be trying for a year or so. Many doctors will consider starting some of the basic testing once a year has gone by however, so maybe speak to your doctor about if/when something like that would be a consideration.
