So I have had a staph infection in my labia, that went untreated due to a negligent RN. I went to her when the symptoms occurred and got tested for stds and they came back negative. I am just today getting the proper medication from another dr after a couple months of being infected.
BUT now, I have a bump on my outer lips that has formed. It started small, like a pimple that had not come to a head, but now it is larger, almost the size of an eraser's circumference. It has grown and is darker than my skin color. It is smooth but has something inside, maybe just fluid? And it is painless. What could this be??? Hopefully just a harmless cyst?

I had a similar problem a while back, and my gynocologist said that I got it from shaving. It was probably a reaction forming due to an ingrown hair or the metal on the razor. I used vagisil and it disappeared after 5 days.
