I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant, My partner and I have had intercourse and I have been fine, however last night after we had finished, I had 2 sharp pain in my lower tummy, then I had bleeding. It wasn't a heavy bleed, it was a pinkish colour, more then red. It stopped almost straight away. I had a few brownish spots this morning, but nothing since... should I be concerned?

You should call your doc to be safe.

You might be too dry and that's causing the bleeding. Try using some vaseline or lube, and if it doesn't stop, then go to your gyno.

Did your Ultrasound show placenta previa?

I wouldn't worry about it because this has happened to me almost every time I have sex with my husband... its usually normal and there should be no need to worry if its not very heavy... however if it is making you worry call your doctor!! Good luck!

Your body is more sensitive at this time. I would check with your doctor just to make sure everything is okay. Like jjb4060 said, it is normal for some women to bleed after sex when they are pregnant, I did as well, and also after physical exams. Just check to make sure, don't want to take any chances this far along.
