    Ubuntu Software Raid Compatibility
I have a desktop machine that I have planned to install ubuntu server on and I am just wondering if I could use a raid0 between the two hard drives (even though they are different sizes). They are both Western Digital Drives (WDC WD300bb-75DEA0 and WDC WD800JB-00JJA0) I currently have Windows XP on it, but even though it is stable, I need something that is even more stable on my Dell Optiplex GX1 (450MHz Processor, 256MB of ram, 30GB + 80GB HDDs, and a freshly installed Netelligent 10/100TX NIC.) I need complete compatibility because I am planning to have it as a multi-use server.

    Thanks in advance.

P.S. I want to use the entire space in both hard drives. And will be upgrading the HDDs with dual 320GB HDDs.
