Fix crumbling old concrete basement walls
1948 foundation was hand poured and is crumbling and loose in places.

I want to seal against moisture and coat the wall inside and out, with something that will waterproof it and look good. I don't want to have to excavate the exterior.

It does not appear to leak now, but there are some areas that look like possible mold.

Any specific suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks, - Bob

Hey Bob, 60 years for a foundation is not a big deal but crubling is a big deal. If you meant hand mixed as well as hand poured it may be time to have a structural engineer give a peek. Here are several products like UGL - DRYLOKŪ Masonry - Masonry Waterproofer that will give you moisture proof suface and an improved look but not much in the way of structural strength. Good luck, also a Bob
