    Where is the pinswitch receiver?
    Hi!

We have several ceiling fans, Hampton Bay model 178-210 and I need to change the remote switch settings on them, but I can't find their pinswitch :) receivers.

Can you give me some info and adjusting instructions?

    Thank you,

For built in receivers usually somewhere on top of the fan.
For separate receivers usually in the canopy at the ceiling.

Sometimes they put a square rubber plug to cover the dipswitchs(dual inline package)
The plug may be on the receiver and transmitter, and switch settings have to match.

Do you know the model name of the fans?

Receivers are usually in the ceiling canopy, switch housing (above the light kit) or accessible from the top of the motor.
