Is it okay to put your arm around a girl that your not going out with?

It all depends. If she is single and a friend, sure why not. But, if she is involved with someone, even if she is a friend of yours, I would suggest not. You don't want to send mixed messages to her if she is in a relationship, and even though it is harmless, it could offend and be disrespectful to the other guy whether he is present or not.

I agree with star.. If she's single & she lets you sure.. go ahead but your arm around her, but if she has a BF be careful he may not like that.. & you don't want to create any problems by the way them..
