    Hello Judee:

If you have a passport, you're free to leave the US anytime. However, other countries and free to accept or deny entry to anybody they choose. Some, including Canada, don't want felons there.

According to US Federal Laws, convicted felons can leave the country. As long as you can apply and get a passport you may leave. Now which countries you can go to depend on there laws and regulations for travel. The best advice to find out which you can go to is to call some form of law making body in those countries, the embassies of those countries in Washington D.C. or even a simple call to your local county courthouse may give you these answers.
