Ok. So. Today I had some blood in my stool. I also had a really dark stool... I'm not sure if that was today or yesterday. Then about an hour or two ago I started feeling uncomfortable in the abdomen area. I'm now experiencing some sharp pains on the left side of my abdomen that get suddenly worse then fade then a few seconds later get sharp again. I think I'm pregnant so that is a big concern of mine. I don't think that I'm having a miscarriage but something is not right. I just don't know if I should go to the ER.

Also they bill you later with the ER right?

I know you can't diagnose but I just need some advice

I would go to the ER, easy for me to say though, I live in Canada, health care is free. Don't take any chances, blood and pain, get to a doctor asap.

I had a similar problem minus the pregnancy, and I went to the ER. They kept me for a long time and ran a lot of test, but I was really glad I went because if I wouldn't have I would have been dehydrated and made everything worse, and if you go you will be billed later but if you have insurance it should cover most of it. You don't need any money upfront. Good luck

I went. They did a pregnancy test and said I'm not. :( They ran some test and they said things are normal and the lack of period was probably stress. Thanks.
