My child's father signed a consent for my husband to adopt can I still keep getting child support

Once the adoption is final your husband is the legal father and assumes all responsibility for the child. This includes support.

Of course not, once the adoption takes place ( normally within a few weeks of the letter) then the child support will stop.

I am sure that since there is an adoption going on the ex will expect the support to stop shortly.
