Just got telescope, and trying to find a way to locate saturn in way south Alabama.
I entered the position of Burmingham and 10:00 EDT tonight in an astrnomy site. The Chart it generated indicated that Saturn should be between the Moon and Mars (near the constelation Leo) at that time. Look WSW about 41° above the horizon.

I saw it a long time ago, didn't see the colors, just a white ball with a white ring.
Orion Nebula is easy to find, middle star of Orion's Knife, hanging below his belt.
If you have Google Earth, and you should, its free and it works.
Under the Tab select "View", select "Switch to Sky", Enter "Saturn"for the search, then Click "Fly to", you're there.
Then by zooming out, you can see the position in relation to the Constellations.
