    Recessed Lighting
I don't have any electrical boxes in my ceilings in any of the rooms in my house. I would like to install recessed lighting in family room, kitchen, and living room. What is ballpark costs to have this installed?
    ?
I would also like to get ceiling fans installed in the 4 bedrooms.

What is ballpark cost to get electrical installed in the bedrooms?
Just looking for a ballpark costs that is a fair estimate.
    I live in New Jersey

We need some more info to give you an answer. That ballpark figure, is it for you to install or will you call a handyman or electrician? Also, are there any light fixture in the ceiling now and is there an open attic above these rooms?

No I need someone to install both elec and fan. No lighting fixtures in there now, yes, there is a open attic that someone could enter.

Instead of asking on an world wide internet forum why not just call for some local estimates??

Whatever you hear here will just be a blind guess anyway.

I would agree with Stan now that you answered muy question. If you plan to hire, that guy will tell you his price based on his rates, I'd get 3 estimates. This will not be cheap since power needs to be run to currently non-existent switches and then up through the walls to the ceiling. It can be done by a pro or semi pro who knowns how to snake drill bits and wires in walls but time is money.
