So I eventually got my period, it was 3 weeks late to the day.
Does that make it a missed perio, or just a really late one?

Should I expect my next period 28 days from when it started? or is my cycle going to be all irregular?

It is likely just a one off situation... can happen once in awhile. Plan on it coming again in about 28 days, of course it depends on the reason why it was not on schedule. Could be a fluke, could be hormone issues, etc.. All you can really do is wait and see.
