I finished mowing yesterday and shut off the tractor, it now will turn over but no spark, I checked the plugs, they look fine, just no spark to them? Fuse possibly or other electrical issue? The PTO lever is off so it's not the switch.

Remove the small black "kill" wire from the coil and see if you have spark then.

Where is the coil located in series or physically? I checked again and it had spark so I started it and mowed again. After I shut it off, it did the same thing?

Could be the solenoid going bad.

Okay, the coil is located under the blower housing alongside the flywheel. Remove the top of the engine (blower housing) and the coil will be right beside the flywheel.

Thank you. I will run it again and when it fails to start... when I remove the small black wires from the coil and it sparks, that's the problem, correct?
