Vulcan CX90 and Honeywell Focus Pro 6000
    Hi,

I'm trying to install a Honeywell Focus Pro 6000 controller to a Vulcan CX90 Ducted Heating Unit. There are 6 wires coming from the CX90 marked A,B,C,D,E & F. The wiring diagram for the CX90 is no help because all 6 wires disappear into a decoder unit.

Can anyone offer any help on wiring these 2 together??

    Thanks in advance,
    Robbie...

You will have to figure out exactly what the wires do and where they go on the CX90 to hook the thermostat up. Actually that thermostat may not work unless additional relays are installed. The thermostat operating voltage is different from the unit operating voltage.

You'll need a wiring mod on the heater outside to basically connect the thermostat ("W" and "R") directly to the gas valve ("TH" and "TH/TR") but u have to disconnect the wire 15 from "TH" on the valve first
