Hi all,
I have been given the task of evaluating weather or not the Royal Navy should form a union or federation. The task is to find out what the advantages and disadvantages would be if this was to happen and I would like to hear is the opinion of others. So my questions is this:

Is there a requirement for the Royal Navy to form a union/federation?

No, military by its pure reason to exist must at times ask members or order members to do things that is not logical, that is dangerous or things that may mean almost certain death. As such there is no right of the soldiers to discuss or challenge things in the middle of a battle.
