Will idle but stalls under load (white smoke june1 3:07 for details)anybody know where I can get online specs/diagrams for hd gasket&valve lash.

Set the vavles at .005"

Do you agree this is a hd gasket problem?

Installed new hd gasket,now won't start.adj valves to .005 with piston 1/4 turn past tdc.battery cks good (12.65v). Powered starter direct with batt. & starter hung up at peak compression. Oil ed starter gear till it moved freely & put back but it still hangs up.
Do I have an ignition prob? Or starter o r compression? Need help,thanks hc
