What method did you use to reinstall your operating system?

I would go online to the IBM web site, and search for the driver, and attempt to download it from there.

    2 options

1-link below is an unidentified device finder, it will search your PC for drivers not identified with your system and offer you a website to download from.
Unknown Device Identifier - Freeware Download

In device mgr, right click on one device that has yellow mark nest to it and choose uninstall and say OK, close open windows and restart PC. On restart windows will find new device and try to install a driver for it, let it search online for it. If one cannot be found it will let you know. Try this for each device, opefully windows will find a driver that works for it. If not mark down which device drivers they are and go to the website and try and download the original drivers that were originally installed with the system.

More than likely, it should find the usb drivers through online search, if not download individual drivers from website. I'm sure the modem and network card will have to be downloaded.

    Scleros
The symptoms you described are indicative of not having installed first a driver for your motherboard's chipset, and then all the individual component drivers.

All the necessary files should be available at Lenovo Support - NetVista personal computer 6578-NBG
