Idle problems with a 1991 Honda Civic DX Hatchback
I have been fighting this problem for the past year and a bit and to be honest I would like to just take the stupid thing out back and shoot it. It starts fine and will idle for awhile fine but once it hits a certain temp (or if I drive it cold and come to the first stoplight) it idles ridiculously low and than starts choking out as if gas is not getting through right. It use to pick up again after about ten seconds now it just flat out dies it will start up again fine but if I am still waiting at the light it will continue to do this. Once it is warm its fine (besides being gutless ) I have changed fuel filter, spark plugs, SP wires. I have taken it in numerous times to a mechanic with no avail. If anyone has had this problem than please help. I just want this piece of crap car to run normal for a change... If no one can help does anyone have a gun I can borrow?
