    Out of state visitation
I'm in good standing and paying child support ($900 a month for 1 beautiful 3 year old boy). I have attempted to contact my son's mom to arrange visitation but she refuses to respond. So far, I've had to pay ALL legal fees when the courts are needed and it's getting very expensive. Can I establish visitation, have it so we meet half way (5 hours away), and can we share the tax deduction to help offset some of the expense? I think that these are all fair requests.

No, you can't establish visitation, but a court can. Why wasn't visitation setup when the child support eas set?

As for sharing the tax deduction, again that should have been set at the custody hearing.

You really have to go back to court. I know it is costly but that is the only way that you can get visitation. When you go in just tell the judge what you would like and she can state what she would like and the judge will make his/her ruling. That way if you aren't getting your visitation as ordered you can go back to court for it to be enforced legally.

The terms of visitation, and the issues of who claims the child on taxes ( some have it every other year but some only the custodial parent gets it) But all of those issues is what your lawyer was suppose to arrange when you went to court to decide custody. You will have to go back to court to get all of that worked out
