    The Rezko conviction
The Rezko verdict: Guilty :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Tony Rezko

Obama's ' throw him under the bus' reaction :

I’m saddened by today’s verdict. This isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew, but now he has been convicted by a jury on multiple charges that once again shine a spotlight on the need for reform. I encourage the General Assembly to take whatever steps are necessary to prevent these kinds of abuses in the future.

Amazing how little he knows about the people he is associated with .Those Chicago machine connections will be the undoing of this last great hope. Too bad he just can't bring himself to admit he is just a pol. Who will do whatever is necessary to win.

It truly is amazing, how little this man knows about his closest friends and associates, over the past 20 years.

Isn't it amazing, how now, four close associates have "changed" within the last few months.

Rev. Wright. Father Flager. William Ayers. And now this one.

The guy is a phony. Not only that, it is an insult to our intelligence to expect us to just swallow this bull crap, "that is not the man I've known". It seems to be a very common response from such an intelligent, articulate, and highly educated man.

If his judgments of such close associates is that far off, we really should be worried about trusting his judgment to lead our Nation.

John Who is going to be slammed with his role in the Keating Five, guaranteed... he should have gone to prison for his complicity in helping his buddies in the plan to trick huge numbers of old people out of their life's savings.

Obama is bulletproof. That's why you have try to smear him about the theater of black religion... black religion is emotional and fabulous and funny and stirring. :D How do you think black people survived when Christian churches were preaching hate, Jim Crow, oppression of the blacks, and ministers were members and supported the lynchings of the KKK... all abominations justified by the Bible?? Why, I bet that black ministers said a few, "God damn white men" in the terrible old days. LOL

Bulletproof... I don't even have to talk to you angry white guys again. :)

You do realize of course that the Senate Judiciary Chief Counsel at the time ,Robert Bennett (best known for being Bill Clintoon's lawyer during the Lewinsky mess), said McCain was innocent of all allegations, and should never have been charged, and is now supporting McCain.

Of course the Dems had to extract their pound of flesh to prove that it wasn't only a Democrat scandal... so they censured him for 'poor judgement'. Obviously the crime of the century. I suppose you "slam" John Glenn ,Alan Cranston,Dennis DeConcini, and Donald Riegle (the Dems involved ) as hard for their more damaging role in the scandal .

As for the bullet-proof Messiah ;let's just say that we are still peeling the onion. His being a follower of a Marxist theology is just the tip of the iceberg.
