    Reverse phone directory
Does anyone know of an online reverse phone directory that doesn't charge a fee? All the ones I tried pitch their service as being free, but when you try to use it they want to charge you. Thanks for any help. noboat

There are many free reverse look ups, the problem is unless the number you are searching for is a Published land line, you won't get it for free.

With such a large number of people using only cell phones, or having unpublished land lines, it is more likely that the number you want to find, is not a published land line.

This is how they make money, by then charging a fee for the numbers that are not so easily found.

If you need a cell or unpublished land line, you will have to pay someone for that search, the good news is many of them offer no information, no charge, so at least if you do have to pay, you are guaranteed to get your information.
