    End of Tenency
Here is a question, I had a 12 month lease and my landlord and I agreed to end the lease 1 month early with no penalty, my last month was paid in full. So I was scheduled to move out no later than 5/31. I turned my keys into the landload on 5/18, would my date for the end of the tenency be 5/18 or 5/31? I am asking so I can enforce the 30 return of my security deposit. Thanks again.

For the purpose of returning the deposit you can use the 5/18 date, but I would send the landlord a letter to that effect. Its possibly a court would agree that he could use the 5/31 date.
