    Window unit
I have just purchased a small window air unit for my bedroom. I have never installed one before and I have a couple of questions about the electric part. It requires a 15 amp circuit parallel plug and a requires a separate circuit. Can I plug it straight into one of my outlets?

Most circuits are 15 amp, what is the breaker on that plug.
And what else is plug into that series of outlets, As long as there is nothing or not much else on that circuit it should be OK.

As long as there is not too much other stuff on the same circuit,, an over load will kick the breaker or blow a fuse,, it won`t take long to find out, I would myself want mine to be on its own circuit,,
