You can tell your girlfriend 1 million times that she's beautiful, and whether your being truthful or not, until she believes it herself and is comfortable with herself, she isn't going to let you near her.
My advice would be to take it easy and not pressure her. If you love her would you want to force her into something she doesn't want to do? Sounds like she needs some time to trust you and get comfortable with you. So be patient and understanding.
It is slang, but none of his language is new in the US. Its been around for forever. Not particularly the best choice in words, on the vulgar side, but its not like he invented locker room talk. He's not complaining about her being on top too much or too much sex. He is complaining because she won't take that position. Don't know about you, but its great to see a woman in that position, especially since its one of the better positions for the woman to take for her own pleasure. He'd like to see her take that position and she won't, likely due to the shyness he states in the original post.
I'd still like to know how old the OP and his girlfriend are.
I'm betting she's pretty young, all things considered.
