Can you get pregnant on your period?
I had sex once a few weeks ago with my partner unprotected.
I thought it would be Ok as I was on my period, but now I'm getting real bad abdominal pains and feeling sick quite a lot. I feel drained, stressed and my emotions are all over the place.
My periods last the whole 7 days and I had sex on the 5th day of my period, I read somewhere that sometimes if you have sex near the last days of your period that's when your cycle could be producing ovaries all over again, and you could be at risk.
I know I need to get a pregnancy test but for now are the chances high or low?
    Any answers would help thanks.

Es, some women do in fact get pregnant while on their period. This is why it is imperative to use some form of birth control all the time.

I think you mean eggs. We are born with two ovaries, those ovaries produce the eggs.
