    240V Table Saw
    Is there a correct way to connect a 240V table saw with a 15 amp 6-15 plug to a 14-30 125/240 outlet?

If so would I tie the nutral & ground together or just use one or the other?

Also should I add a separate in-line 15 amp breaker?

    KISS
Simple enough. Just get a 2-pole fused disconnect, connect one end ( 3 wires, Ground, L1 and L2) of the proper AWG for 30A and connect it to a 6-15 socket.

Use fuses rated for 15A. Use 3 wires (ground, L1, L2).

If the outlet is not used, then you can change the receptacle and existing breaker.

    Thanks!
That's what I thought, but I wasn't 100% sure on using the ground or nutral wire!
