    Can this be true?
I was told that an over/under package unit such as Trane (TCH) XR13h moves more air and has a higher static pressure than a mobile home package unit such as Trane (TCK) XR13m. The salesman said the TCK is designed for the air to rise since it is placed at bottom of mobile home and moves less air. I think he was blowin smoke. My original ductwork was over under but converted 15 years ago for a side by side package unit. These guys want to go back to over under. What is your pro opinion?

Keep the duct system you have. Every time you change you just spend more $$$.

HVAC, What do you think about the differences in units ability to move air and static pressure from first part of post?
    Thanks.

I have no reference. Do you have a copy of the manufactures specs. I believe nothing verbal from contractors. Have them show you the difference. Then you can say there is one.

A mobile home is hard to heat and cool to start with but I do not believe what they are saying means any difference in this situation. Could be he has cheaper access to the other unit. Mobile home design equipment always costs more.I think you are getting a bum steer.
