Since you can't "make" anyone do anything, you only get to "make" yourself do things, "make" yourself get back into his "friend zone" first. That's the best platform to ease back into "girlfriend zone".

After you get back into his friend zone, be the best friend he ever had... and let him know you're still interested in him, but only as long as the friendship stays unaffected. (sneaky, huh?)

Doing this right takes time and patience.

Your only other approach is creepy, needy, whiny, stalker-girl. That could work, too.
