Here's the story. My wife and I used to live in our house in Michigan. She moved to Tennessee first with the kids. I moved to Florida by myself. Upon leaving the home, she suggested I rent the property to friends of hers. I was getting the rent at first and then now they send it to her only.

Question #1: We both have our name on the title. I am the only one paying on the house and she collects the rent. Can I evict the tenants without the ex re writing a lease for them?

Question #2: Is there any legal recourse that says that they cannot pay her the rent because the original lease was signed by myself only?

Question #3: Do I have to have a reason to evict them in the state of Michigan?

If they are paying the rent to one of the owners, you are fairly well stuck.
You need to divorce the wife or something to settle who owns the house
