How can I make my old corian countertops/sinks look new again. They are dull and have scratches in them. Is there any thing that will help their looks? They happen to be a creamy white marbleized combination. Thanks, cmwb

Corian is a solid surface material, meaning that it is the same color all the way through. It is refinished by sanding. Depending on how deep the scratches you may want to start with 220 grit sand paper, then 320, 400 and finish with 600 grit. You could go to 1000 if desired. Buff.
I would do what Harold recommends, maybe finer paper, and then finish with a buffer and automotive rubbing compound. When you sand you must use a rigid sanding block and not your hand.
