    Spin cycle not working
I just bought a used Kenmore 70 series washing machine, model number 110.26702690. The spin cycle does not work and I don't know if it is belt driven or gear driven. Can anyone help me figure that out?

Usually if no spin cycle the lid switch is bad. Check it first.

This is a direct drive, but check the lid switch first

That would be the coupler. Easy fix and cost about $35.00. It is located between the motor and transmission. I takes about 30 minutes to repair.

Hello,my Kenmore top loading washing machine will not spin. It will agitate on both the wash and rinse cycles but will not spin. The last time I got it to spin I manually held down the switch with the lid open. That does not work anymore. Can someone point me in the right direction so I can fix this or get help.
